MERRY X-MAS!

Merry x-mas, happy new year.

Normally I wouldn’t say “Merry Chirstmas” all this month I have been succeding at my resolution from 2006, to say “Happy Holidays” insted of “Merry Christmas” I have a few friends who are pretty close who are not christian. It makes me feel like I am saying “Happy Holidays” to a wider amount of people.

well, my christmas was a lot of fun. I got up this morning and our family did presents and we had x-mas tree bread for breakfast which is like a bunch of rolls stuck together with frosting my grandma makes which is REALLY GOOD! Christmas dinner was the best though cause we had roast beef and YORKSHERE PUDDING which is like my favorate food. oh yeah and rum cake and crab cakes… well i like yorkshere pudding a lot.

since the other holidays are all over… MERRY CHRISTMAS! (and a happy new year)

Today

Today. Well, I had some fun. I BBsat a baby while his parents were moving. Then I went out to lunch w/ my Dad. (Subway…mmm) Then, I came home and waited for my sister and mom who were over the hill. When they came home dad, kathryn and I went and got a x-mas tree. Well, Lemos farm, a farm with pony rides and jumpers ete. was right accross the street from where we got the tree, so Kathryn wanted to go feed the goats. so we went to Lemos farm and as we approched the goat pen we noticed how muddy it was, and we rememberd how they always jump on you. It didn’t sound great. Then, Kathryn got some “baaad memorys” about the goats, so we came back to the car just as it started raining. So we drove home in pouring rain with the tree on the roof of the car. So we got to the house, and we got the tree of the car in the rain. Then we brought it in the garage to put it in the stand. Finally we got it in the house where we dripped all over the place. Long story short, Kathryn and I spent the rest of the night decorating.

Shadow Day

Well, on Tuesday I shadowed at HMB High School. I really liked it. I shadowed a girl named Steffani. She was a lot of fun, and her friends were to. I liked the school for it’s feeling of closeness. Everybody knew who everyone else was, I couldn’t tell the freshmans from the seniors.

The classes were fun too.

The first class I went to was Spanish. I did not understand at all. I watched the classtime, and then I worked on my Homework from school.

The next class was Art, they were doing this really cool thing with colors, and the color wheel. The teacher wasn’t much fun, she was pretty mean achually. Oh well.

Next was Math. The Math teacher had a voice like he had something in his nose, and he had just inhaled helium. LOL. Well, he was still fun to watch and nice.

After Math was lunch. For lunch at the high school, you can bring your own, or you can get food from the take out window at the student center. You can also go to town and get lunch there, but you only have 40 min so you need a car or you need to be able to run fast.

Advanced English was next. In that class, they were doing these posters about greek gods. So I did my English homework. The teacher had posted all the vocab words they had done that year, and I knew what most of them ment. It was cool to see.

Social Studies was last. That was a fun one. At the begining, it was mostly lecture, but then he gave them a paper which had info about “Vlad the Impaler” on it, and some questions. I could do that work so I did.

The school starts at 7:40, and ends at 2:45. Any more questions for me, just leave me a comment.
